TryOnStudio - Camera & Data Safety Policy
Last Updated: 21-JAN-2026
1. Camera Access and Image Data
To provide a seamless augmented reality experience, TryOnStudio requires access to your device’s camera. This permission is requested at runtime and can be managed through your device settings.
- Virtual Try-On Functionality: The application uses the camera to detect body segments (e.g., neck, ears, or wrists) to accurately place virtual jewelry or clothing. This allows you to see a high-fidelity preview of products in real-time.
- Image Uploads: You may choose to capture a still photo for more detailed AI rendering. These images are used solely to overlay selected inventory items onto your likeness.
2. Data Processing and Storage
We prioritize the privacy of your biometric markers and personal photos during the rendering process.
- Image Processing: All AI-driven rendering is performed on our secure cloud infrastructure. Captured frames or photos are encrypted during transit using Industry-standard SSL/TLS protocols.
- Data Retention: Generated try-on results are stored in your private history for your convenience. These records are automatically purged from our servers after 7 days of inactivity, unless you explicitly save them to your permanent gallery.
- Third-Party Sharing: We maintain a strict "No-Sale" policy for your data. We do not share facial data or photos with third-party marketers. Processing is restricted to authorized cloud providers (AWS/Google Cloud) who comply with our rigorous data safety standards.
3. Data Safety and User Rights
We implement robust security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. Our "Data Safety" commitment ensures that you have full control over your personal records at all times.
Account and Data Deletion
Users have the right to permanently delete their account and all associated data at any time. To exercise this right, follow these steps within the TryOnStudio app:
- Open the TryOnStudio application.
- Open the side navigation drawer (the hamburger menu icon in the top corner).
- Select the Settings option.
- Tap on the Delete Account button.
- Upon successful confirmation and authentication, your account, profile details, and all historical try-on data will be permanently and irreversibly deleted from our records.
